A rare vintage set of 4 chairs by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen of Denmark from 1955 in teak
The model 3105 was designed in 1955 for The school Munkegaard north of Copenhagen. 
The school building and everything in it was designed by Arne Jacobsen. 
Hence this series 5 chair is often referred to as Munkegaard. 
These chairs are in extremely good vintage condition for their age.
They have been dismantled and the chromed metal legs have been cleaned with wire wool and waxed
The legs have been fitted with new black shoes and rubber supports for the seats.
The teak seats have been lightly sanded by hand to remove as many scuffs and scratches as possible and then waxed.
Any necessary repairs have been made to the teak veneer.

The finished result is amazing for mid century chairs that are nearly 70 years old.
These chairs are now ready to grace any home for another 60 plus years.
