Vintage Poul Henningsen 4/3 table lamp for Louis Poulsen
This is an early PH 4/3 table lamp with a bakelite E27 bulb holder.
In great condition with age related wear.
Chromed metal stem and base with white painted and pressed aluminum shades.
In original condition.
Poul Henningsen designed the 3 shade system in 1925 together with Louis Poulsen for the world trade show in Paris.
This was the beginning of the legendary 3 shade system that was used on all his designs to create a soft glare free light.
This PH 4/3 table lamp was designed in 1966 just before his death in 1967.
