A Danish modernist table lamp in brass by Lyfa of Denmark.

The designer is unknown but could be Bent Karlby as he started designing for Lyfa in the 1940s.

The provenance is Eastern Court House Bernstorffs Palace Copenhagen.

It is very likely that they were designed and made especially to order.

With a beautiful simplistic and elegant design typical of the period.

The lamps have been dismantled and all parts checked and cleaned.

Originally the lamps were clear coated and this has been stripped so the brass is now bare and polished.

Rewired with twisted gold cloth cable and grounded.

Fitted with a new brass on/off switch and brass cable pinch to the base.

New black baize on the base.

Can be fitted with an EU, US or UK plug.

Two E14 LED lamps included so the lamp will be ready to plug and play.
